MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMS
- Building Your Team
- Teams have a life of their own. To achieve team goals, the wise team leader will understand the life cycle of teams and take the necessary actions appropriate for each stage. In this workshop, we practice some of those actions as we review the team life cycle and the team success factors.
- Coaching Your Employees
- Employee development is becoming an important responsibility for supervisors. This program is designed for managers, supervisors, and professionals who must provide on-the-job coaching and training. Participants will learn various methods for coaching/training employees of different work styles.
- Developing as a Leader
- Successful teams don't just happen. Successful teams are developed by skilled leaders and motivated team members. In this workshop, participants learn how to build on their natural leadership tendencies and how to develop their teams based on five team success factors.
- Behavioral Interviewing (Interviewing and Hiring Skills)
- Organizations vary as to how much involvement supervisors have in the hiring process. In most situations, it is a must for supervisors to know how to interview candidates. This program, which focuses on interviewing, reviews the entire hiring process from job vacancy to the new employee's first day on the job.
- Introducing and Supporting Change in the Workplace
- Change is a given in today's workplace. Sometimes supervisors initiate the change, while at other times, they coach their employees in defining and implementing change. Often change can be defined in one area of the organization for implementation in another area. In this workshop, we prepare supervisors for their role in each of these three situations.
- Managing and Appraising Employee Performance
- An employee performance appraisal should be much more than a one-day a year event. This program considers the supervisor's responsibilities throughout the year and identifies specific actions to take with employees of various abilities and behaviors.
- The Fundamentals of Supervision
- Supervision is not a responsibility to be taken lightly and yet many people find themselves in the position with little or no advance preparation. This course provides an overview of the multiple aspects of the supervisor's job, and a supervisory action plan.
